Asetek Simsports Invicta™ S-Series T.H.O.R.P.™ II - Throttle and Brake Pedals
The Asetek Invicta S-Series T.H.O.R.P. II is the split-base version of Asetek’s hydraulic brake and throttle system. The brake and throttle are separate assemblies, allowing up to 400 mm pedal spacing. The T.H.O.R.P. II brake uses an automotive-grade pressure sensor and operates from 0 to 100 bar, corresponding to up to 180 kg of force at the pedal plate according to Asetek.
Why choose this product?
- Separate brake and throttle bases allow much wider and more individual pedal positioning than a fixed shared baseplate, including up to 400 mm spacing.
- The two-stage T.H.O.R.P. II hydraulic brake, interchangeable elastomers and RaceHub configuration provide mechanical and software adjustment for braking and throttle response.
Product details
Hydraulic braking and adjustment
The brake uses Asetek’s T.H.O.R.P. II hydraulic cylinder with an automotive-grade pressure sensor. Travel, pedal stop and initial touch hardness are adjustable, and five interchangeable elastomers are supplied. The manufacturer states a 0–100 bar measurement range and 180 kg maximum force at the pedal plate.
Split mounting and throttle
Brake and throttle mount separately using four fixed holes, M6 hardware and Ø6.4 mm rig holes; supplied M6 slot nuts support aluminium profiles. Spacing can reach 400 mm. The 16-bit Hall-sensor throttle has adjustable hardness, travel, stop and RaceHub curves.
Software and expansion
RaceHub handles calibration, deadzones and throttle curves. One USB connection serves the PC even with a three-pedal setup. The optional Asetek Invicta Clutch System is compatible but is not included.
Compatibility
Platform: PC is supported; Asetek currently specifies Windows 11 on the S-Series product page.
Connection and ecosystem: Asetek states compatibility with major sim-racing wheelbases and lists the Invicta Clutch System, La Prima Clutch System, Forte Pedal Face Plates, Universal Footrest and Firm Throttle Spring as compatible products or upgrades.
Requirements: Rigid rig mounting and USB are required; clutch is optional. Asetek’s product page and manual disagree on overall weight and dimensions, so SRW does not publish either set as definitive.

Frequently asked questions
Why choose the S-Series instead of the standard Invicta T.H.O.R.P. II pedals?
Choose S-Series when independent pedal placement is important. Its brake and throttle are separate assemblies and Asetek specifies up to 400 mm pedal spacing. The standard set uses a shared pedal base with integrated heel rest.
How does the T.H.O.R.P. II brake work?
It is a hydraulic two-stage brake using an automotive-grade pressure sensor. Asetek specifies a 0–100 bar pressure range, equivalent to up to 180 kg of force at the pedal plate, with adjustable travel, stop and initial touch hardness.
Does the S-Series need more than one USB connection?
No. Asetek states that one USB connection to the PC is sufficient even when the setup is expanded to three pedals.
Can I add a clutch later?
Yes. Asetek lists both the Invicta Clutch System and La Prima Clutch System as compatible. The clutch is an optional product and is not included with this brake-and-throttle set.
Why are weight and overall dimensions not shown in the specification grid?
Asetek’s current product page and official manual conflict on those values. SRW therefore leaves them out instead of choosing one source arbitrarily.
