Simagic Alpha EVO Sport 9Nm + GT Neo V2 Steering Wheel Bundle
The SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Sport 9 Nm + GT Neo bundle combines two matched components from the current Alpha EVO platform: the 9 Nm Alpha EVO Sport wheel base and the 300 mm GT Neo Formula/GT steering wheel. The official SIMAGIC bundle configurator lists this exact base-and-wheel pairing. It is a PC-oriented setup for drivers who want a compact 9 Nm base with a high-control-count GT wheel without treating subjective “feel” as a specification.
Why choose this product?
- The Alpha EVO Sport combines 9 Nm torque, a 21-bit encoder, active cooling and multiple mounting options in a compact aluminium wheel-base platform.
- The included 300 mm GT Neo adds QR50, ten RGB buttons, dual 7-way switches, rotary and thumb encoders, and included paddle modules in one matched bundle.
Bundle components
Alpha EVO Sport wheel base
The Alpha EVO Sport is rated at 9 Nm maximum torque and uses SIMAGIC's ultra-low-inertia motor platform. The current Alpha EVO specification lists a 21-bit encoder, 180 MHz frequency and 20 kHz response rate. The die-cast aluminium housing measures 130 × 110 × 281 mm and the base has an active cooling system. SIMAGIC also lists zero-cogging technology and its Dynamic Force Domain Filter algorithm as part of the EVO platform.
GT Neo steering wheel
The GT Neo is a 300 mm Formula/GT wheel made from injection-moulded carbon-fibre-reinforced composite. It has ten customizable RGB buttons, two 7-way multi-position rotary switches, four rotary encoders and two thumb encoders. Paddle modules are included. The wheel is supplied with a SIMAGIC QR50 quick release, giving it a native mechanical match to the Alpha EVO Sport.
Mounting and connectivity
The Alpha EVO platform supports bottom, side, front and desk-mounting solutions, with the exact brackets depending on the chosen installation. SIMAGIC lists eleven output connection sockets and dual-mode connectivity on the EVO platform. The official specification supports QR50, QR70 and QR-A. Optional mounting brackets or desk hardware are not part of this two-piece bundle unless separately listed by the retailer.
Software and configuration
SimPro Manager is used for wheel-base and steering-wheel configuration. The GT Neo's RGB lighting and control layout can be customized through SIMAGIC software. SIMAGIC also provides MagLink as a separate route for third-party connectivity and SimHub use, but MagLink is not required for the native GT Neo-to-Alpha EVO connection in this bundle.
Included hardware
SIMAGIC lists USB-B and Type-C cables, the wheel-base power equipment and an installation kit with the Alpha EVO Sport. The GT Neo includes QR50, paddle modules, button-cap stickers and its accessory pack. Because the official manufacturer names the wheel simply “GT Neo”, this description does not rely on an unverified “V2” hardware distinction.
Fair upgrade comparison
From an 8 Nm-class system, the objective hardware change here is to a 9 Nm Alpha EVO Sport base plus the SIMAGIC 21-bit encoder platform and the GT Neo wheel ecosystem. Whether that is a worthwhile upgrade depends on the steering wheel, mounting method, ports, software and future peripherals the driver needs. Statements such as “more refined feel” are not treated as objective specifications unless a manufacturer publishes a measurable basis.
Compatibility
Platform: The Alpha EVO and GT Neo ecosystem is intended for PC sim racing; no PlayStation or Xbox support is claimed for this exact bundle.
Connection and ecosystem: The GT Neo is supplied with SIMAGIC QR50 and is an official selectable wheel for the Alpha EVO Sport 9 Nm bundle.
Requirements: A PC, compatible game, mains power and a suitable mounting solution are required. Optional front, side or desk brackets are separate unless explicitly supplied. Third-party wheel use requires its own verified connection method and should not be inferred from the open-ecosystem description alone.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Alpha EVO Sport and GT Neo pairing manufacturer confirmed?
Yes. SIMAGIC's current 2-piece bundle selector lists Alpha EVO Sport 9 Nm + GT NEO as an official combination.
How much torque does the Alpha EVO Sport produce?
SIMAGIC specifies 9 Nm maximum torque for the Alpha EVO Sport.
What quick release is included with the GT Neo?
The official GT Neo specification lists a SIMAGIC QR50 quick release as included.
Is MagLink required to use the GT Neo with the Alpha EVO Sport?
No. MagLink is an optional third-party connectivity route. The GT Neo is an official native wheel option for the Alpha EVO Sport bundle.
Is this automatically a major upgrade from an 8 Nm wheel base?
Not automatically. The measurable changes include a 9 Nm Alpha EVO Sport base, SIMAGIC's 21-bit encoder platform and the GT Neo wheel ecosystem. The buying decision should also consider mounting, software, ports and desired wheel options rather than a subjective 'feel' claim.
