The backrest profile is designed to surround the driver, while additional lumbar-area reinforcement is part of the shell construction. Assess fit carefully: a supportive competition seat should position the driver correctly without relying on extra padding to compensate for a mismatched shell.
Upholstered Competition configuration
This standard configuration uses K-Point fabric and the full-length cushion arrangement. Sparco lists homologation AS.099.22. The separate ADV Competition PAD article has a removable pad lining and a different covering layout; select the version that matches your installation plan.
Compatibility
Choose a vehicle-specific installation or a simulator seat platform that supports the stated mounting arrangement. Verify seat width, harness openings, mounting clearance and the driver’s seated position. Use the model-specific approved mounting system. Can I use this seat in a sim racing cockpit?
Yes, when the cockpit accepts the seat dimensions and a secure mounting arrangement. Competition approval of a seat does not by itself approve the simulator or a vehicle installation.
