Fanatec Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm) Playstation / PC (Test)
Designed for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC, this package provides a complete route into Direct Drive sim racing. The included Boost Kit 180 unlocks 8 Nm peak torque, while the preinstalled QR2 system connects the wheel directly to the motor shaft. A table clamp is supplied for desk use, and the wheel base and pedals can also be hard-mounted to a suitable cockpit.

Bundle components
Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel base
The custom Direct Drive motor uses Fanatec FluxBarrier technology and reaches 8 Nm peak torque with the included Boost Kit 180. A contactless Hall position sensor tracks steering movement. The aluminium housing works as the structural chassis and a passive heat sink, allowing fanless operation. A carbon-fibre-enhanced steering axis and low rotational mass support fast response to changes in grip, kerbs and vehicle balance.
Gran Turismo steering wheel
Designed by Polyphony Digital, the round 280 mm wheel uses tactile rubber grips and ergonomic paddle shifters. A white OLED display provides access to the Fanatec Tuning Menu and can show telemetry where supported. The wheel also includes a diffused RevLED strip, 11 PlayStation-oriented buttons and five 5-way directional controls. A QR2 Lite Wheel-Side is preinstalled.
CSL two-pedal set
The throttle and brake pedals use heavy steel construction and contactless 12-bit Hall sensors. The brake has a stiffer spring and PU foam damper for progressively increasing resistance. Pedal spacing and face height are adjustable, and the modular design supports hard-mounting or inverted installation. Official clutch, load-cell and metal pedal-face upgrades are available separately.
Mounting and connections
The table clamp supports surfaces from 5 to 60 mm thick. Adjustable T-nut rails on the sides and bottom support cockpit mounting, with four M6 T-nuts included. Connections are provided for power, USB-C to console or PC, pedals, handbrake and two shifters. The front threaded inserts are intended for compatible Fanatec accessories, not for front-mounting the base.
Software and configuration
The Standard Tuning Menu provides accessible base settings, while the Advanced Tuning Menu allows more detailed force-feedback adjustment. Firmware and driver updates are performed through the Fanatec PC driver on a Windows PC. Fanatec SDK support enables integration with major racing games, although OLED, RevLED and telemetry functions depend on individual game support.
Upgrade options
The wheel base supports compatible Fanatec steering wheels, pedals, shifters and handbrakes. Quick-release compatibility depends on the wheel and installed wheel-side system. Pedals without an RJ12 connection may require an adapter cable. Optional upgrades, brackets and mounting hardware are sold separately.

Platform: Compatible with PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC. Xbox compatibility is not specified for this complete bundle.
Connection and ecosystem: Wired USB-C connection, QR2 Lite Wheel-Side and QR2 Lite Base-Side preinstalled, plus ports for compatible Fanatec pedals, shifters and handbrakes.
Requirements: Mains power is required. The Boost Kit 180 and regional power cord are included. A Windows PC is required for driver and firmware updates. Optional upgrades, adapters and cockpit-specific hardware are not included.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Gran Turismo DD Pro 8 Nm work on PS5, PS4 and PC?
Yes. The bundle is officially compatible with PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 and works with Windows PC. Telemetry, RevLED and display functions depend on support in the selected game.
Is the Boost Kit required to reach 8 Nm?
Yes. The Boost Kit 180 unlocks 8 Nm peak torque and is included with this SKU. The lower-power 90 W supply is not included.
Can the bundle be mounted to a desk or cockpit?
Yes. The table clamp supports 5 to 60 mm surfaces. T-nut rails support wheel-base hard-mounting, and the pedals can be fixed to a suitable rig. Additional cockpit-specific hardware may be required.
Do I need a Windows PC for PlayStation use?
Not for normal PlayStation driving. A Windows PC is required to install Fanatec driver and firmware updates, which Fanatec recommends before use.
Can the included pedals be upgraded later?
Yes. Official clutch, load-cell and metal pedal-face upgrades are supported. The clutch and load-cell options create a three-pedal configuration, but all upgrade kits are sold separately.
