A Matrix competition seat with ergonomics developed around FIA 8855-2021 geometry.
The Sparco Matrix uses a fibreglass shell and a geometry developed around FIA 8855-2021 requirements. Sparco studied the ergonomics using an SAE mannequin and added a reinforcement plate with a honeycomb matrix, giving this model a distinct construction within its competition-seat range.
Why choose this product?

- Honeycomb-matrix reinforcement plate
Product details
Geometry and reinforcement
The Matrix focuses on the relationship between shell shape, driver position and reinforcement. The honeycomb-matrix reinforcement plate is a specific construction feature, while the ergonomics development helps explain why fit must be assessed using the Matrix dimensions rather than those of another Sparco seat.
Plan a complete race-seat installation
Sparco lists FIA homologation CS.018.23. Check the current label, permitted use period and mounting instructions supplied with your seat. Select mounting hardware and harness routing for the relevant vehicle or simulator; the seat alone does not establish approval of the complete installation.
Compatibility
Choose a vehicle-specific installation or a simulator seat platform that supports the stated mounting arrangement. Verify seat width, harness openings, mounting clearance and the driver’s seated position. Use the model-specific approved mounting system. Brackets and rails are not included unless explicitly listed.

Special-order information
This premium seat is sourced from Sparco specifically for your order. Please confirm the model, fit, mounting system and expected lead time before purchase. For business orders, a cancellation or return voluntarily accepted by Sim Race Webshop is subject to a 15% handling and restocking charge on the seat purchase price. This charge does not apply when a consumer exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, or to valid warranty or non-conformity claims. Consumer returns follow our published returns policy; any deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the seat is based on actual diminished value.
Recommended combinations
Complete a properly planned installation with a suitable harness from our racing harness collection. For a simulator with active belt feedback, consider the Qubic System QS-BT1 together with a suitable six-point harness. Confirm belt-tensioner routing, anchor positions and seat clearance before combining products.

Frequently asked questions
Are mounting brackets included?
No. Select the mounting system specified for this seat. Use the model-specific approved mounting system.
Can I use this seat in a sim racing cockpit?
Yes, when the cockpit accepts the seat dimensions and a secure mounting arrangement. Competition approval of a seat does not by itself approve the simulator or a vehicle installation.
How do I choose the correct size?
Compare the manufacturer’s dimension drawing with your body measurements and available cockpit space. Confirm fit before ordering a specially sourced seat.
