The ClubSport Formula V3 develops Fanatec's compact Formula-wheel layout into a wider 290 mm design intended for Formula, GT and LMP-style driving. A 5 mm carbon-fibre front plate, metal construction and user-replaceable perforated leather grips form the main structure. The revised spacing gives the two FunkySwitches, rotary controls, switches and face buttons more room while keeping the controls within reach during fast steering inputs.

Construction and ergonomics
The 290 mm Formula shape is approximately 20 mm wider than the previous generation, creating a more natural hand position for a broader range of drivers and car classes. The front plate is 5 mm carbon fibre, and the perforated leather grips can be replaced by the user. The wheel weighs approximately 1.35 kg including its quick release, helping balance rigidity, control density and manageable steering inertia.
Controls, display and shifting
The face includes 11 buttons, two seven-way FunkySwitches, two two-way momentary switches, three 12-way rotary switches and two thumb-reachable rotary dials with push functions. Nine RGB RevLEDs and six RGB FlagLEDs surround the white OLED display. Intelligent Telemetry Mode can show five supported data layouts. The CNC-machined black-anodised aluminium magnetic paddles are preinstalled, while the optional Podium Advanced Paddle Module offers an official upgrade path and is not included.
Setup and firmware
The QR2 Wheel-Side is installed as standard. QR1 compatibility is also listed, but a QR1 Wheel-Side is not supplied. The Fanatec App on Windows PC is used to update wheel and base firmware, configure LEDs and display behaviour, and adjust supported wheel-base settings. Available display data and advanced functions depend on game and platform support.
Compatibility
Platform: Windows PC; PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 only when connected to a compatible PlayStation-licensed Fanatec wheel base. Xbox is not supported.
Connection and ecosystem: QR2 Wheel-Side for compatible Fanatec bases, including CSL DD, Gran Turismo DD Pro, ClubSport DD, ClubSport DD+, Podium DD, DD1 and DD2 models listed by Fanatec.
Requirements: a compatible Fanatec wheel base. A wheel base, pedals and the optional Podium Advanced Paddle Module are not included.
