Driving position and adjustment
The Evolution PRO is designed around a low GT and rally seating position. The steering-wheel plate and pedal plate can be adjusted to suit the driver's reach and leg position. Playseat specifies a recommended driver-height range of 120–220 cm and a recommended driver-weight range of 20–120 kg. The centre-post layout keeps the footprint narrow, but customers using three pedals should consider their preferred foot placement before purchase.
Construction and upholstery
The cockpit uses a lightweight carbon quality steel frame and breathable ActiFit upholstery. The assembled dimensions are 130 × 50 × 98 cm and the product weighs 21 kg. The seat is intended for racing hardware from major brands, although the exact mounting-hole pattern and the physical size of the wheelbase and pedals should always be checked.
Direct Drive advice from Sim Race Webshop
A Direct Drive wheelbase can technically be mounted and used on the Playseat Evolution PRO. However, the stronger force feedback can introduce movement, instability and creaking noises in this frame design. Sim Race Webshop therefore does not recommend the Playseat Evolution PRO as a Direct Drive cockpit. For a more rigid Playseat alternative, consider the Playseat Trophy Black or Playseat Trophy Red, both officially recommended for Direct Drive wheels.
Compatibility
Cockpit platform: platform-independent; console or PC support is determined by the installed wheelbase and controls.
