The Playseat Trophy Black is a rigid, open sim-racing cockpit developed with input from racing drivers and esports athletes. Its frameless seating structure adapts to the driver, while the wheel and pedal mounts form a stable platform for strong braking inputs and detailed force feedback.

Direct Drive-focused construction

Playseat officially recommends the Trophy for Direct Drive wheels. The frame combines lightweight carbon-quality steel with a rigid wheel mount and a pedal plate designed for high braking force. This makes it more suitable than lighter or centre-post cockpits when using stronger force feedback.

Seat design and adjustment

The Black edition uses ActiFit and Racing PU Leather and a frameless seating structure that adapts to the driver's body. The position can be adjusted for different drivers and control layouts, while the open cockpit leaves room for natural leg movement and techniques such as heel-and-toe operation.

Dimensions and hardware compatibility

The assembled cockpit measures 140 × 58 × 100 cm and weighs 16 kg. Playseat lists compatibility with steering wheels and pedals from major brands. Because mounting patterns and wheelbase dimensions differ, customers should still confirm the exact hardware combination, especially when using front-mount or side-mount Direct Drive bases.
