About

Hello Sim Racer!

I’m Marco Fintelman, and sim racing has been a part of my life since I can remember. Born on November 23, 1987, in Rhede, the Netherlands, I was always captivated by motorsport, particularly Formula 1. My passion for racing started with my father’s old Pentium computer and the game Grand Prix 95. But what truly hooked me was when my father crafted a wooden Formula 1 steering wheel, complete with elastics and a potentiometer, that connected seamlessly with the game. That homemade wheel was the start of a lifelong love for sim racing.

Growing up, I idolized Michael Schumacher and dreamed of being behind the wheel in real motorsport. Unfortunately, life didn’t take me in that direction, but sim racing became my next best thing. Over the years, I’ve seen the evolution of this amazing sport, from early gear-driven steering wheels to the advanced Direct Drive systems like SimuCube, Fanatec, Simsteering 2, Moza Racing, and Asetek Simsports. Sim Racing has grown far beyond a hobby – it’s now a thriving platform for both amateur and professional drivers, and I’m fortunate enough to turn my passion into my career.

At Sim Race Webshop, we offer the very best products for sim racers at all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Whether you’re looking for a complete setup like the SIM-LAB rigs or a specialized Playseat F1 chair, we’ve got you covered. We also provide top-tier, high-end equipment such as Direct Drive steering wheels from SimuCube, Fanatec, Moza Racing, and Asetek Simsports for serious, competitive racers.

Sim Racing has transformed into more than just a game. It’s a global sport, with competitions like iRacing and Assetto Corsa drawing in racers from all walks of life. Many real-world drivers now use simulators for training, and the technology behind these systems – from laser-scanned circuits to virtual reality and motion platforms like D-Box – makes the experience incredibly immersive and realistic. Even the most advanced load-cell pedals from Heusinkveld give you precise, 1:1 feedback for perfect braking points, helping you reach peak performance.

Sim Racing is no longer limited to gaming. It’s a serious, professional pursuit, with digital talent like Jan Mardenborough (featured on The World’s Fastest Gamer) and Romain Grosjean using it to transition to real-world racing careers. In the Netherlands, the KNAF (Royal Dutch Motor Sport Federation) now offers digital licenses to help sim racers take the next step in their motorsport journey. And who can forget Max Verstappen? Before driving his Red Bull car, he was honing his skills in a custom Playseat F1 cockpit, just like the one we offer at Sim Race Webshop, equipped with the LM-X or GPX steering wheel from Precision Sim Engineering.

At Sim Race Webshop, our mission is to provide all sim racers – whether beginner, advanced, or professional – with the best simulation products available, all under one roof. We pride ourselves on fast delivery times because we know how important it is to have your gear in hand when the competition begins.

With over 10 years of experience in sim racing, I previously worked with Wheel Stand Pro and Mardo Media, names that were well-known in the industry. Now, with Sim Race Webshop, I’m back with a renewed vision and passion to bring the best products to sim racers worldwide. Many of you will recognize me from those days, and I’m here to help you take your racing experience to the next level.

Our goal at Sim Race Webshop is simple: We want to be the go-to provider for all sim racing enthusiasts. Every driver deserves the best equipment, and we’re here to make sure you have what you need to reach your full potential. All you need is the talent to breakthrough – we’ll provide the gear to help you get there.

Let’s race towards victory together!
