The Fanatec ClubSport DD+ is a high-output Direct Drive wheel base for PS5®, PS4® and Windows PC. Its custom servo motor delivers 18 Nm holding torque, while passive cooling and a thermally optimised internal layout are designed to maintain consistent feedback throughout long sessions. The integrated QR2 Base-Side Type-F supports current Fanatec steering wheels with the matching wheel-side quick release.

Direct Drive and FullForce
The custom servo motor uses an optimised rotor magnet angle to reduce cogging and Fanatec’s FluxBarrier technology to improve efficiency and smoothness. FullForce can add high-frequency effects to the normal force-feedback signal in supported games, allowing details such as engine vibration and road texture to be reproduced through the motor.
Stable torque and fast response
The motor provides 18 Nm holding torque rather than a brief peak figure. Passive cooling and a thermally optimised layout are designed to avoid performance reduction during extended use. A powerful processor, low-latency motor control and a high-resolution contactless Hall position sensor support fast reactions while controlling unwanted oscillation.
QR2, mounting and connections
The QR2 electronics module is integrated into the shaft, and the preinstalled QR2 Base-Side Type-F uses die-cast aluminium with a CNC-machined finish. Side and bottom T-nut rails support adjustable hard mounting. Ports are provided for power, USB-C, pedals, handbrake, two shifters and CAN for future Fanatec peripherals.
Compatibility
Platform: PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC. Xbox compatibility depends on the connected steering wheel.
Connection and ecosystem: Compatible with Fanatec steering wheels using QR2, all Fanatec pedals, ClubSport shifters and the ClubSport handbrake. The Xbox-licensed Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2.5 X can add Xbox support.
Requirements: A compatible steering wheel and pedals are not included. FullForce effects require support from the game, and older pedals without RJ12 may require an adapter cable.

Are a steering wheel and pedals included?
No. This SKU contains the wheel base, QR2 base-side, power supply and listed hardware. Steering wheel and pedals are separate.

What is required to use FullForce?
