Direct Drive motor and force feedback
The steering wheel connects directly to the motor shaft, so there are no belts or gears between the motor and your hands. Fanatec’s FluxBarrier technology is designed to improve motor efficiency and smoothness, while a high-resolution contactless Hall position sensor tracks steering movement. The electronically adjustable rotation range extends to 2520 degrees.
Compact, fanless construction
The aluminium housing acts as both the structural chassis and a passive heatsink. A carbon-fibre-enhanced composite steering axis and low rotational mass support fast response, while the fanless design keeps operation quiet during longer sessions. The QR2 Lite Base-Side Type-C is preinstalled and can be exchanged if your setup changes.
Mounting, connections and configuration
T-nut rails on the sides and underside support adjustable hard mounting. An optional table clamp can be used on surfaces from 5 to 60 mm thick. Connections are provided for power, USB-C, pedals, handbrake and two shifter ports. Standard and Advanced Tuning Menus allow quick setup or detailed force-feedback adjustment.
Compatibility
Platform: PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC. Xbox compatibility depends on using an Xbox-licensed Fanatec steering wheel.
Connection and ecosystem: Compatible with Fanatec CSL, ClubSport and Podium steering wheels when the installed wheel-side quick release matches QR2. Fanatec pedals, shifters and handbrakes connect directly to the wheel base.
Requirements: A compatible Fanatec steering wheel and pedals are required for a complete driving setup and are not included. Some older pedals may require an adapter cable.
