The 300 mm MOZA KS Steering Wheel combines a butterfly-style GT format with 70 programmable inputs and dual-clutch paddles.
Designed for GT, prototype and formula-style driving on PC, the KS places frequently used race controls within reach of both hands. Its carbon-fibre-reinforced composite structure is strengthened around the quick-release connection, while TPE rubber grips provide a defined hand position. The open-rim layout includes configurable RGB controls, telemetry LEDs and MOZA Pit House software.
Why choose this product?
- Seventy programmable input signals, five encoders and two joysticks support in-race adjustments without leaving the steering wheel.
- Hall-sensor magnetic shifter and clutch paddles provide contactless input with configurable clutch modes for starts and additional controls.
Product details
300 mm GT format and reinforced construction
The KS uses a 300 mm butterfly-style GT shape suited to cars that require rapid steering input and direct access to controls. The main structure is made from carbon-fibre-reinforced composite and is reinforced with high-strength steel at the connection point. TPE rubber grips suit bare hands or gloves. Official dimensions are 300 × 120 × 165 mm.
Controls, paddles and telemetry
Ten RGB short-travel buttons use 0.25 mm travel and offer eight configurable colours. The control layout also includes three 12-position rotary encoders, two 20-position thumb encoders and two depressible joysticks, contributing to a total of 70 programmable input signals. Ten high-brightness LEDs can display RPM telemetry. Two magnetic shifter paddles and two clutch paddles use non-contact Hall sensors; the clutch paddles support combined-axis, independent-axis and button modes.
Quick release, software and third-party use
The wheel uses the MOZA Quick Release and communicates wirelessly or through an industrial conductive slip ring, depending on the compatible base. MOZA Pit House controls colours, RPM behaviour, mapping and clutch modes. Current MOZA compatibility documentation lists supported current wheelbases by exact generation; older bases that are absent from the current chart should not be assumed compatible. Use with a third-party wheelbase requires the MOZA Racing Universal Hub and Third-Party Wheel Base Mount, which is not included.
Compatibility
Platform: PC. No standalone Xbox or PlayStation compatibility is claimed.
Connection and ecosystem: MOZA Quick Release with officially supported current MOZA wheelbases; third-party wheelbases require a USB connection through the MOZA Universal Hub Kit.
Requirements: A compatible wheelbase is required. For older MOZA bases, verify the exact base generation against the current MOZA compatibility chart before purchase.

Frequently asked questions
Which MOZA wheelbases work with the KS Steering Wheel?
MOZA lists the KS for its supported current wheelbases. Verify the exact base generation in the current compatibility chart, because older models not shown there should not be assumed compatible.
Can the KS be used with a third-party wheelbase?
Yes, through the MOZA Universal Hub Kit and a direct USB connection to the PC. The hub and third-party mounting hardware are not included.
Does the KS include dual-clutch paddles?
Yes. It has two clutch paddles that can operate as a combined axis, independent axes or programmable buttons.
What can be configured in MOZA Pit House?
Pit House supports input mapping, clutch modes, RGB button colours, RPM LED behaviour and paddle calibration.
Is the KS a round steering wheel?
No. It is a 300 mm butterfly-style GT wheel with an open upper and lower rim rather than a complete round rim.
