Controls, display and grips

The GPX uses injection-moulded polyurethane grips and a 290 mm Formula-style chassis. Precision Sim Engineering verifies 9 rotary dial controls and 12 high-quality push buttons, plus a full-colour LCD data display. The verified public GPX page does not assign those inputs to fixed functions. Their in-game roles are user-configurable; labels such as DRS, pit limiter, brake bias, ABS, traction control or engine map should be treated only as examples of possible user assignments, not as manufacturer-defined GPX mappings.

Shifters and wheelbase interface

PSE magnetic gear shifters with carbon-fibre paddles are fitted as standard. Dual-clutch paddles with an adjustable bite point are optional. Mechanically, the wheel supports any 50.8 mm quick-release coupling, with the quick release itself not included. PSE also lists Simucube SC2 and SC1, SimSteering, OSW and AccuForce systems; AccuForce requires the appropriate quick release.

Fanatec use and software

Fanatec Podium and ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5 use requires a Fanatec Podium Hub, which is not included. The GPX is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox. Precision Sim Engineering lists FanaLEDs software as required to drive the LCD display and LEDs.
