Sensit Haptics MTC-P Extreme 2 seat insert with 14 actuators and eight-channel spatial feedback.
The MTC-P Extreme 2, also identified by Sensit Haptics as the second-generation MTC-P Extreme, adds tactile feedback directly to a compatible simulator seat. Four high-performance bass shakers and ten high-fidelity magnetic actuators are distributed through the seat, centre, back and shoulder pads. This layout is intended to separate effects around the driver's body instead of producing one general vibration through the complete rig.
Why choose this product?
- Fourteen actuators and eight spatial channels can distinguish effects such as ABS, wheel slip, kerbs, suspension movement, engine vibration and gear changes.
- The active 100 W system includes its own control unit and power supply, so a separate audio amplifier is not required.
Product details
Actuator layout and response
The backrest section combines two high-performance bass shakers with six high-fidelity shakers, while the seat section uses two bass shakers and four high-fidelity shakers. Sensit Haptics specifies an effects range up to 20 kHz and latency below 5 ms. The result can be configured to communicate vehicle behaviour through distinct areas of the seat, including front or rear grip loss, braking intervention and changes in road texture.
Cushion construction and size variants
The inner cushions use polyurethane foam, with 3D mesh and velour polyester covers for airflow and contact comfort. The control-unit case is ABS+. Regular Size and XL Size use the same main pad set; the XL package additionally includes an extension pad. The Regular Size shipping weight is 4.3 kg and the XL Size shipping weight is 4.4 kg, based on the manufacturer's packaged figures.
Installation and software
The pads are secured to a suitable seat with the supplied 3M hook-and-loop straps. The control unit connects to a Windows PC through the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable and uses the included 19 V power adapter. Sensit Haptics supports SimHub for general game compatibility and its SimRacing Cockpit App for profiles, effect adjustment and 100 Hz telemetry capture in supported titles. Seat fit must be checked against the manufacturer's compatibility guidance before purchase.
